Aroma : Tangerine Essential Oil has the typical citrus scent – fresh, radiant, and tangy sweet. With only subtle differences, it smells a lot like the Mandarin, with some even considering them identical. In comparison to Sweet Orange, Tangerine can be seen as lighter with more candy-like tones.
Constituents:
a-thujone, a-pinene, b-pinene, camphene, citronellal, geranial, limonene, linalool, myrcene, nerol, sabinene, terpineol-4-ol and y-terpinolene.
Uses:
Tangerine oil is soothing to the nervous system and is also an effective tonic for the digestive system, which makes it a necessary ingredient in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also good for the skin, removing stretch marks and reducing fluid retention.
