The Nutmeg Oil offered by us is extracted through the process of CO2 extraction from the dried seeds of the nutmeg tree. Extracted from Myristica fragrans of the Myristicaceae family, the nutmeg oil is an effective stimulant and rejuvenating agent.

History:

Nutmeg was used by the Indians for intestinal disorders, by the Egyptians in embalming and by the Italians during the Plague. In the Middle Ages nutmeg was grated and mixed with lard as an ointment for piles.

a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, a-phellandrene, a-terpinene, limonene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, linalool, terpinen-4-ol, safrole, methyl eugenol and myristicin.
