Neroli

Description:

Neroli Oil offered by us is extracted through the process of CO2 extraction from the flowers of Citrus aurantium var. Amara of the Rutaceae family. It is plant oil similar in scent to bergamot produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree.

History:

Though Bitter Orange Essential Oil has been around for centuries, Neroli Essential Oil wasn’t discovered until the seventeenth century. It was named after Anna Maria de la Tremoille, princess of Nerola. The oils properties were extremely valued by the people of Venice who used it against plague and fevers

Color & Aroma:

Color : Dark greenish yellow liquid. Characteristic exotic citrus-y floral odor.

Aroma : Sweet, floral citrus aroma

Constituents:

a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, a-terpinene, nerol, neryl acetate, farnesol, geraniol, linalool, nerolidol, linalyl acetate, methyl anthranilate and indole.

Uses:

Neroli oil is relaxing and is efficient in relieving chronic anxiety, depression, fear, shock and stress. It has a calming effect and is beneficial to the digestive tract. Helpful in fighting insomnia, it is a powerful sedative in the treatment for depression and anxiety. It rejuvenates the skin by removing the dead skin cells. It is a good general tonic overall.
